Patient journey

The first stage in applying for a rehabilitation stay is a consultation with a physician to assess the client’s health status and suitability for hospitalisation.

The consultation is via email before the client arrives in the Czech Republic, with assistance from the Medical Tourism Coordinator. The client must provide up-to-date medical documentation, including an MRI scan (if necessary), and a completed questionnaire specifying other requirements.

During your consultation, the doctor will plan all necessary examinations, treatments, and rehabilitation tailored to your needs. Our goal is to ensure that you receive comprehensive care that addresses your specific health requirements. The doctor will guide you through each step, making sure you understand the process and what to expect during your stay with us.

Afterwards, you will receive a complete plan via email in PDF format, detailing all recommended procedures and schedules.

Based on the consultation with the physician, the client chooses the date of admission and length of stay according to the available capacity. The client is offered room/apartment options to choose from. If someone will accompany the client, this must be indicated when selecting the room.

Now you can start planning your trip with our coordinator. Together, you'll take care of all necessary details, including visas, flights, and accommodation arrangements.

If you have special requirements not listed in the questionnaire, please communicate them before making the advance payment. The client must pay 30% of the total amount for the ordered services in advance. An invoice will be issued, and the date of hospitalisation is confirmed only after the payment is credited to the hospital’s account.

Additionally, the client must sign and return the Client Agreement, which includes attachments such as informed consents that need to be read in advance.

Upon arrival in the Czech Republic, transport will be waiting at the airport to take the client to the hospital for admission. When the agreed period of hospitalisation comes to an end, transport is also arranged to a location within the surrounding area pre-specified by the client.

During hospitalisation, a medical concierge is available for 2 hours per day to accompany and interpret for the client. Additional hours are governed by the price list.

Upon arrival, the client will register, sign an informed consent, and pay the remaining amount for services. An initial examination will be conducted, and an individual rehabilitation plan will be set. Meals are provided, with choices available one week in advance. Upon discharge, a medical report will be given in Czech, with an English version sent within 5 working days.

If your treatment includes rehabilitation, it will begin immediately. If not, we will continue to keep in contact with you even after your hospitalisation has ended and remain fully available to you when needed. As the health of our clients is very important to us, we are committed to providing ongoing support.
